Are you intrigued by Montreat Landcare Committee (Landcare) projects? There are several ways you can support our work:
- Donate to build Flat Creek Crossing Accessible Trail or other Landcare projects. (The Town of Montreat holds Landcare funds.)
- For checks or pledges, please print and mail the Flat Creek Crossing Accessible Trail Pledge Form.
- For credit card donations visit the Town of Montreat’s Payment Portal.
In the “Purpose” box type:- “Flat Creek Crossing” or
- “FCC” or “Landcare” for general support for Landcare
- Enter payment information and follow the prompts to submit your donation
- Purchase note cards or prints. James Williamson donates his watercolors of Montreat scenes to benefit Landcare. Visit Cards and Prints for more info.
- Attend Landcare open meetings — first Wednesday, 9:00 a.m. at the Montreat Town Hall. Many good ideas affecting all of Montreat come through Landcare.
- Apply for an appointment to the Montreat Landcare Committee, when openings arise. Landcare is an advisory board of the Town of Montreat, with appointed representatives from the Town, Montreat Conference Center, Montreat College, Montreat Cottagers Wilderness, Open Space Committee, and the Earthcare Team of Montreat Presbyterian Church.
